Aikido

The story
The goal of Aikido is to train the mind and the body, to form honest and sincere persons (citation of Morihei Ueshiba). From the first moment the Aikido is introduced like an elegant method of finalized personal defense to the neutralization, by blockings, articular levers and projections, of one or more aggressors. Syntheses and evolution of ancient techniques changed from the JUJUTSU classic and the KENJUTSU (the practical one of the sword), the Aikido find the own originality and effectiveness in a series of movements bases to you on the principle of the spherical spin. Contrarily to other martial arts, the techniques of the Aikido are melted and they are developed on a circular movement whose hinge is R-he who is defended. In such a way it stabilizes just the barycentre, he puts off center that the aggressor attracting it in the own orbit, and can take advantage to the energy produced by the agressor action until neutralizing it. Term AIKIDO is the result by the union of three words:

" Ai " (union, harmony);
" Ki " (spirit, energy);
" Do " (way, physical and spiritual way).

This Martial art is the result of long lead years of study from its founder, Morihei Ueshiba, in the field of main spaciality of the Japanese martial tradition, known in feudal age like Bujutsu. Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969) said also "O Sensei", Great Master, begins to practice to Jujitzu to the age of 13 years and passes the following 25 to studying the use of the nozzle, the stick, the sword, the techniques of combat to hands knots and anymore near the most important schools at that time, to excel in every field of application.
